I absolutely love the newspaper concept throughout BTS’ single promotions. We see it in both 2.0 and Normal, and I don’t think that’s a coincidence.
It perfectly reflects the media’s relationship with BTS and the two sides of it: one that highlights their success and achievements, and another that’s fueled by gossip and scandals created out of absolutely nothing.
In the newspaper from the 2.0 MV, the articles talk about the launch of something that will “shake the world”, something new that will change everything. They discuss the mixed public reaction and analyze the reasons behind its success. This is the side of the media that acknowledges BTS’ impact and achievements.
In Normal, we see the complete opposite. A world consumed by rumors and gossip, where even the smallest action becomes the center of a massive controversy. What’s so scandalous about a photo taken near urinals? Nothing. Yet the article presents it as if a late-night gathering in a restroom is some shocking incident literally turning nothing into a scandal.
To sum it all up, I genuinely believe the entire ARIRANG era and its single promotions are a diss at the media and the haters.
Bye!! 👋
NORMAL IS COMING
BTS IS COMING

Time to bring back this legendary clip of RM explaining how BTS stays humble despite all their success.
According to him, 50% of #BTS' success belongs to #ARMY. The remaining 50% is shared between the members (5% each x7=35%) and BigHit (15%).
That's Kim Namjoon..a smart, humble leader who always shares the credit and makes sure no one is left behind. 💜
