I came up with the burnt scar idea after I finished chapter 1 of my comic, and redrawing would kill me, so I decided to have Apollo gradually fix all of Asclepius's skin as he grew up, which could be interpreted as Apollo trying to erase the traces Asclepius's mother had left.
