@DrEliDavid He’s saying hi to people you idiot. Do you want him to hold Biden’s dik the whole time or something? Why are you so obsessed with this man? Not enough cum to the face by Trump?
@NorthmanTrader More like now traders know what they’re trying to do before midterms, so they’re going to send the market to the moon, and dare the Fed and administration to crash stocks before the midterms
@Ehukai411@DaveHcontrarian@bquicker @WS6Z28C7 @ChargersSilk@AchillesofHomer @MortensenBach To be fair, he said in August that the meltup up was about to start, then again in November, then again in February. Each time after that, he had to revise his call because of some circumstance. Not hating, but it has now been over six months of changed calls
@jaykaeppel None of these charts matter if small-cap stocks continue to lag mega cap stocks that are at their all time highs. If an evergreen market day, a large mega cab stock has a higher percentage gain than a beaten down small cap stock, then the rally has no legs
@DaveHcontrarian@bquicker @WS6Z28C7 @ChargersSilk@AchillesofHomer @MortensenBach Whether you agree with it or not, I stick by my statement that you cannot be in a healthy melt up with mega large-cap stocks gaining more than completely being down small caps. When I see that trend reverse, I will believe. After this correction, if it continues, no meltup
@leadlagreport The problem with this, as you are putting a chart that is incorporating an anomaly. For a few weeks. Oil prices for WTI was all the way up to 150. This information does not include a crash back to $100
@bquicker@DaveHcontrarian @WS6Z28C7 @ChargersSilk@AchillesofHomer @MortensenBach Agreed, but this is all I will say. Until I begin seeing consistent days where small cap stocks are up 10% or more, & large caps are up only around one percent, there will be no meltup. A melt up cannot occur with mega large caps already at all time highs having higher % gains
@bquicker@DaveHcontrarian @WS6Z28C7 @ChargersSilk@AchillesofHomer @MortensenBach Of course that is what is happening. But you must also realize that it is now obvious that the Fed does not want the market to go up. They want to tame equity risk, because they think it will tame inflation. They want to pull the market down in increments each time it goes up
@bquicker@DaveHcontrarian @WS6Z28C7 @ChargersSilk@AchillesofHomer @MortensenBach I agree That it was based on stale data, Gas prices are coming down, used car prices are coming down, inflation overall is actually easing, but also unfortunately, the market reacts to the Fed, And day-to-day drama, while the bond market reacts to the future
@DaveHcontrarian @WS6Z28C7 @ChargersSilk@bquicker@AchillesofHomer @MortensenBach Yes, one of your main reasons for the melt up happening after correction was fed reversing course. There is no way Brainard comes out and says this today, and then says anything different from this before at least the May Fed meeting. There’s literally no good news left
@DaveHcontrarian @WS6Z28C7 @ChargersSilk@bquicker@AchillesofHomer @MortensenBach Do you think what you see on super green days is healthy? Honest question. Do you think it’s healthy that large-cap stocks at their record highs have bigger percentage gains than small caps at their record lows?
