Giulio Regeni was a Cambridge PhD student. He was murdered 8 years ago in Egypt because of his research.

Many thanks to Friederike Mengel (University of Essex) for her insightful talk on "Non-Bayesian Statistical Discrimination" at @DSE_Unibo, a wonderful example of how to combine theory with a neat experimental design, to answer policy relevant questions.
Yesterday we had an other cool session on theory-driven experiments at #esabologna: @SSuetens ➡️reputation and cooperation; Arno Riedl ➡️intertemporal social preferences; @LorenzGoette ➡️expectation-based reference points
After the warm presidential address by @mc_villeval, Axel Ockenfels gave an inspirational talk on how behavioral economists can contribute to designing markets to solve key societal problems #esabologna
