The series so far.
I have to admit, it's stupidly cool seeing all four of my books together like this. Another bit of honesty; I can't wait to be done with this series and move on to… https://t.co/ou3tOPW0xC
@Purple98138385 Hey, glad you enjoy the series! I've actually completed part 2 of The War of the Ties... a year ago. Just decided to hold off releasing it due to the current situation. Once things calm down a bit, it'll be released. Hopefully not too long to wait.
Some lucky students got the chance to meet @NNTomlinson on Thursday for a fantastic author workshop. All students were really engaged and loved every second of it.
@AlysiaJudge As you said, it's hard to get an opinion across on twitter. Too limiting. I just think people are getting outraged too quickly. I'm sure they'll remove games that offend everyone...maybe...naybe not.
@AlysiaJudge Intriguing article, but to me it states that Valve should stand on a specific set of ethics. It feels like they're damned if they do or don't. Their only real way to avoid a backlash would be to say 'no' to anything that most believe to be wrong. That's the same as saying...
@AlysiaJudge People are only allowed to play games they find non-offensive. Also, I get what you're saying about the right to make the games, but if it can't sell on Steam, that's like effectively killing the game before it launches.
@AlysiaJudge There's a huge differenve between personally choosing a preference, choosing to physically protect your citizens and then policing opinions and thoughts. Just look to history and how the Nazi regime burned books to rid their country of opposing views.
@AlysiaJudge As adults, aren't we supposed to make decisions of what we want to see for ourselves? I don't think it's anyone's right to dictate what I can and can't see. I don't want deplorable games, but I also don't presume to be the authority on what is right or wrong for everyone.
@AlysiaJudge I hadn't seen that article to be fair, but reading it now, I don't see how Facebook, a platform for people to share information, can be held responsible for that atrocity. They didn't create the content. That's like blaming the creators of paper for hate mail.
@AlysiaJudge I just think it's a very slippery slope into policing what people are allowed to see. Age ratings are fine, as they protect the youngest and most vulnerable of our society from seeing things they shouldn't, but we're talking about adults I assume.
