2026 POV: Optimizing settings in Halo for competitive play on Xbox.

Okay, so I need to figure out what controller, monitor, and internet are the best. Now that I've done that, let me change the deadzone settings in the third-party app that came with the new controller, as well as any other settings that may be included, like all these curve graphs and calculation percentages. Then, go into the main game and change your 5-6 deadzones in the settings there as well. Then, make sure to go through and customize any buttons you want to use with your controller, and go through the 10 video settings and optimize the FOV and graphics settings. Then, go into the Xbox video settings and make sure your Hz is set higher, as well as your monitor settings to match. Then, go back into the game settings and make sure you look at any other customizable options in the further down menus and tabs for gameplay, like offsets and many others. It's too much to list at this point, so just go through and look at whatever. Anyways, now let's go into your account and make sure to optimize that to have the best connection to the servers. And since you are using a nice capture card to record, you have to go into those settings too and make sure those are all set right. But then make sure to optimize your PC audio for the best spatial recognition possible using Windows Sonic. Great, now let me go back into the game settings and... I forgot what I was doing; can anyone remind me?

A total of 21 projects I worked on, shipped to matchmaking in halo infinite over the past 2 years.
That’s probably close to a million dollar contract if they contracted it out to a 3rd party studio At minimum I’d say 250k.
I could be way off. But these are things I think about.🙃

The official Grifball game variant has supported Grifgoose from Halo 3 to Halo 5. Unfortunately, the mode now heavily relies on scripting so Grifgoose would require it's own mode and maps.
