Ripple launches toolkit for AI-powered payments on XRPL
@Ripple has introduced a developer toolkit designed to help build agentic payment applications on the XRP Ledger, enabling AI-driven systems to execute and settle transactions with minimal human involvement.
The toolkit also supports x402-powered payments using XRP and RLUSD, giving developers access to internet-native payment infrastructure for autonomous financial applications.
This student accidentally turned $27 into a fortune.
Back in 2009, Kristoffer Koch came across Bitcoin while researching encryption for a university project.
Bitcoin was trading at around $0.005.
He threw in about $27 and bought 5,000 BTC just out of curiosity.
At the time:
•Bitcoin was basically worthless
•nobody was talking about it
•everyone thought it was a waste of money
Then he completely forgot about it.
No charts.
No price checking.
Nothing.
A few years later Bitcoin started blowing up and making headlines everywhere.
That’s when he remembered:
“Wait… didn’t I buy some of that?”
He dug through old files, somehow recovered the wallet, and logged in.
What he found was insane.
His forgotten $27 had turned into $886,000.
He ended up selling a large chunk of it and bought himself an apartment in Oslo.
If he never sold a single coin, those 5,000 BTC would be worth roughly $438 million today.
Probably one of the most profitable things anyone has ever forgotten about.
@CryptoMiners_Co@CurveFinance@Optimism Do you think Llamalend v2 expanding beyond crvUSD markets could bring more liquidity and attract new users to the Curve ecosystem?
