If there’s not a valid reason (subversion?), then Trump should be voicing this publicly. There’s either masterful covert coordination for this and SAVE Act or we haven’t seen Trump reveal the real plan (Miller and co.) and they shouldn’t, not until it’s as close to Nov. 3rd as possible.

The good thing about this is now Trump can declare a national emergency (with the evidence of existing fraud and illegals voting). The legal challenging of that will be much harder to overcome (it will likely go to SCOTUS before Nov.) MAGA wins midterms and we pass SAVE in January after swearing in. It’s BS, but a scenario Trump and co likely planned for if SAVE didn’t pass.

It will be interesting to see if a state of emergency is declared over illegal voting and the new mail handling provides via EO. That can be done now for midterms, without as much resistance in the courts as the passed SAVE act. But it’s enough for us to win the super majority then pass SAVE in January after swearing in. That’s the minimum plan anyways 🤷‍♂️

These votes are telling. Collins voted No (maybe she knew the other 50 votes were had, so could vote No and Blanche still get confirmed). So why would she vote no? She’s in a blue corridor going into midterms. She needs to win. Republicans will vote for her and NOW, some “middle of the road” people will likely vote for her too. Murkowski? Deep red Alaska, Trump won huge. She’s uniparty, that’s why she voted No.
