Lake effect snow will continue off the lakes today, with little movement in the snow bands through 4 p.m. this afternoon. This will result in dangerous travel conditions, especially off Lake Ontario in the Watertown area where snowfall rates will be 2-3 inches per hour.

The Driving Bans are still in effect for the Towns of Brant and Evans and the Villages of Angola and Farnham contained therein. We have been advised many side streets still need to be plowed. No timeline has been established by the towns for lifting the bans as of now.

Lake Effect Snow will continue east of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario today. Additional snowfall amounts of 1-2 feet are possible in the most persistent bands. An intense lake effect band across Watertown and Jefferson county will continue to produce 3-4 inch per hour rates today.

The band of heavy lake effect snow off Lake Erie is making its greater northward shift into the Buffalo Southtowns late this morning. Snowfall rates of 2-3" per hour will be possible in the heart of this band with major impacts to travel conditions. #NYwx

Our teams at @PEMAHQ, @PAStatePolice, and @PennDOTNews have been on the ground overnight to help their fellow Pennsylvanians as the impacts of heavy lake-effect snow hit Erie County.

At the county’s request, I’ve called in the @PANationalGuard who are now on the ground to help any stranded drivers and make sure emergency responders can get to folks who need them. I’ve also signed a disaster declaration for Erie County to send all necessary resources to the area.

Stay off the roads if you can, be safe, and follow instructions from your local authorities. For urgent updates, follow your local forecasts and @PEMAHQ.

16" inches of snow fell in our Concord Erie County Department of Public Works Highway District last night. Roads in all areas where it snowed are open except for Zoar Valley Road between North Otto Road and Grote Road due to a tree down on a power pole.

A prolonged and intense lake effect snow event will continue through the end of the weekend east of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. Lake effect snow bands will move north today. Travel is nearly impossible at times within the most intense bands.

@BB_Bundy @TheDunkCentral I think it's all the antics that he's annoyed with. Pat Bev is essentially a guard version of Draymond, minus the rings. I'm oversimplifying a bit, but he's a defensive stopper at the guard position who always seems to have something to say, and go a little too far.

@paolini Enthralling as Murtagh is as a book, you might put Murtagh and Thorn through more hardships and tribulations than Spider-man's writers. Almost makes it tougher to rationalize how good the book is despite those hardships.
