Which part am I lying about? Is it because the White House and Fox News only showed the first chart in the poll which had the question “do you support voter ID” and that came out at over 80% but did not show the chart from the second question which was “do you support the SAVE act”? If you don’t believe what I have posted then how about you actually go and look at the poll for yourself?

I am a Republican but am against voter supression. Putting financial barriers in the way of your right to vote as a citizen is supression which ever way you look at it. Dont forget the certified copy of your marriage certificate along with your birth certificate and eligible photo ID! If it were not why would they not have amended the bill to make the proof free for citizens at minimum?

Not quite. I live in Florida and have a gold star on my Driving License, but that is not valid under the SAVE act in Florida. However Florida are forward thinking and so they passed state law (HB 991), which means that driver licenses and state IDs issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2027, will display your citizenship status. Until then that gold star means nothing other than your ability to renew without going into the dmv. So to use your DL or state ID you will need to get the new enhanced one after Jan next year. It’s progress in the right direction but still won’t help in the midterms

If you have proof of your accusation as opposed to heresy I would go and start a lawsuit quickly, the President will thank you immensely for it. But lying in court or starting frivolous lawsuits has consequences, so not sure if you will. I am not saying people are too stupid. I am saying that your state ID or driving license (unless you live in one of 6 states that has the advanced one) is not good enough for the SAVE act. This push is not about voter integrity it is about barriers to vote including financial ones. If it were not the. With all of the push back they would have amended it by now to include free, accessible voter Id for citizens. But they have not and there is a reason they have not.

What part do you have an issue with? Did Fox News tell you something different? The poll above came from the same poll that the White House presented saying over 80% of people supported voter ID - which they do. The White House just failed to show the poll from the follow up question about the save act specifically. If you doubt it go and actually look at the poll and the question for each of the charts.

@BedTimeOpinion @SoCalRuss1983 @MarioNawfal The legal id to buy liquor and cigarettes (your state if card or driving license) does not count as legal id under the SAVE act which is crazy as it is even valid proof For you to get on a plane. If that same ID under the SAVE act were valid then there would not be an issue.
