The Channel 9 commentators constantly drooling over how good the play was, just to continue ignoring the put down that would eventually lead to the try being overturned 😂 #NRLManlySouths

In light of recent comments about the nature of games like Mixtape, I think it's worth noting that I strongly believe the idea of "games" exists along a spectrum. And that I don't consider myself a "game designer" in general. Only in a very specific range of design, narrative, and experience.
The games I enjoy and the games I create are often filled with long sections of quiet exploration. Something I've seen dubbed as "asset tourism" for the fact that you're strolling past 3D game assets that you may never see again.
On the other hand, I consider games like Silk Song (based on what I've heard) to be beyond the difficulty range where I can derive enjoyment.
There's nothing wrong with any of these experiences. Though they provide plentiful fuel for rage bait and general debate.
I say, make the games you want to make. And play the games you want to play. And beyond that, live and let live.
As an aside, this exact same debate springs forth with our @PlushieDreadful designs. People assume (incorrectly) that our designs are meant to be everything to everyone. The truth is, those designs express a very narrow area of the spectrum along which people experience trauma and mental/physical health issues.
As the internet once proclaimed, it's OK to not like things. And you don't have to be a dick about it 😂
Parramatta’s rare three-point winner explained.
NRL say correct process was followed, and foul play must be punished, regardless of time of match.
And why the Eels were never at risk of losing, even if penalty kick hit the posts.

@whits106 I appreciate you clarifying it to people, since a 3 point outcome has never happened before, but I expect better from former players and commentators to understand the rules.
Thank you. Was infuriating watching the Channel 9 commentary talking about these hypotheticals when I knew for sure it would be explained in the rule book.
Section 13. Law 10 (b) explains the scenario at the end of that game.
The Cowboys could NOT have retrieved a missed penalty goal & scored a try to win. In regular time, play restarts with a kick off if Moses misses the goal, even if the ball stays in field.

Honestly for me it's just Lego Doctor Who. Do one level for each Doctor recreating an episode from their era in the quintessential Lego format. I know it's been said before, but it's just a no-brainer for me.
This is such a fundamentally moronic decision by Sony.
Like this is almost 2013 XBOX level of anti-consumer behaviour.
And yet a lack of competition, now means we should expect more of this in the future.
Any PlayStation game purchased digitally after March's sytem update will reportedly now require an internet connection once every 30 days to validate the license 🎮
If the console stays offline longer than that, the games will not launch until you reconnect
