With Build 340 released two weeks ago, it was time to dig up some of our previous tweets. As we feared and despite some reassuring (but sadly not new) words from the devs, the Squad 5 project that was abandoned years ago and asked by many players is still nowhere to be found.

The NSL Season 18 playoffs are being held this weekend and are the theater of a new scene. A long time competitive player has used this opportunity to speak out against the behavior of some "high skilled"(human relations excluded) players that he considers unacceptable.

Since the latest Build 340 that introduced Matched Play Beta v2, we've read a lot of players reports related to the penalty system. Until the issues get fixed, we advise you to contact the developers directly on the official NS2 discord, they will manually remove your sanction.

Launched in June 2019, Neonblu servers will be shut down real soon due to personal projects and lack of time from the owner who decided it was time to move on. Running servers requires a lot of money, time and patience, so many thanks for all the efforts he's put into his servers

Next patch should be released very soon and will include a big update of Matched Play (TD) which seems to come with new items earned through a progression system (e.g. skins and more than 70 achievements mostly related to TD) and, of course, the remaster of the NS1 map Tanith.

Wondering about last week stats? What server got the more rounds played? As usual, BAD servers lead the way with Diamond Gamers and the Thirsty Onos close for the 2nd and 3rd places (thanks t0by!).

The Thirsty Onos (TTO), after a successful test this weekend, will now be running on Meteru's hardware located in a data center in Germany (used to be in Sweden). The test revealed better server performances (see image below) so they decided to go with that solution, permanently.

Latest statement from developer @ns2wasabione (NS2 Team Lead) following Krafton's annoucement:"As it stands there is no change in the day to day development of NS2. UWE will continue to function as an independent company but now with expanded support from its new parent company"

Drama on the NSL discord! Yesterday, a player publicly reported what he would described a "violation of the NSL rules" from the Head Admin during a scrim. It quickly escalated, with the Head Admin directly insulting and mocking this player. (1/2)
