I myself am a National Socialist and know both English and German.

Gonna make a quick note on this:

One of the things I hate most about the Movement sphere are the "debate bro" types who pick fights over the most minute details; they never come to an agreement about anything, and they seemingly have an addiction to the attention one receives through engagement.

I used to deride those who block people when I was younger because I had the same mindset this dude had, that it was "cowardly"; now, as someone who realizes that time is valuable, and that the only value Internet arguments have is by convincing an audience instead of the opposition, I think its a wise choice to make before getting sucked into pointless threads over dishonest accusations or petty points.

Sometimes arguments are important, and I'll happily engage in ones that are done honestly; others, meanwhile, I'll just move on.

I said that National Socialism was race-first in policy in the Third Reich, he said the Third Reich was nationalism-first and argued that Hitler would've conquered the world and stripped away rights from anyone who wasn't fully Germanic, including other Whites lmao. He also accused me of "reporting him" (never considered it) and of being a pagan.

I quoted figures like Rosenberg who said otherwise, but then realized that the conversation wasn't worth it after he said being "race first" is to advocate for "race communism".

Hitler's goal in Europe was to give its peoples its freedoms while also seeing Germany as the leader of the continent - nothing about stripping other Europeans of their rights, and nothing about making Germany the sole ruler of Europe.

Let's also quote Alfred Rosenberg on the topic, specifically in his speech "Germany as a Bulwark in Eastern Europe":

"When we consider the problems of the East, we should by no means speak narrowly of Germany alone and its concerns, but understand that this global struggle is a European issue for all peoples, and that these peoples, who once broke away from the Bolshevik movement at a critical hour, somehow—despite the many difficulties that exist— still belong to Europe, and that they, often unconsciously, are also engaged in the struggle for Europe.
The National Socialist movement must also carry this realization with it so that it does not become petty and narrow-minded in the struggle for itself, and that it never forgets our venerable continent, its great culture, and its great past; this may reinforce that consciousness which has carried and strengthened us time and again from the very first days of our movement and has today become a glorious consciousness shared by all of us, by many millions."

New upload to the Internet Archive:
"Fascism and its Practical Results" is a lecture given by Joseph Goebbels at the German Academy of Politics in 1933 where he describes the Italian state, Mussolini, and the practice of Fascism among the Italian people, ultimately arguing that it and National Socialism will shape the countries of Europe for all time.
Goebbels speaks excellently here and gives us the best idea of how the at-the-time new German state viewed its inspiration as not something to completely mimic, for all states are shaped by their unique peoples, but as a sign of things to come with the Italian and German Revolutions.

As for Hess and Hitler, Hess heard Hitler speak in Munich in 1920 and joined the NSDAP on July 1st of that year, becoming its 16th member.
A reminder that Hess was already in right-wing circles at that time, including the Thule Society in 1918, meaning that him hearing about Hitler that early on and checking out a NSDAP meeting isn't completely unlikely.

The essay itself is from 1921, as stated by his official biography published in 1933, "Rudolf Hess - Der Stellvertreter Des Führers".

Mussolini had already been elected to the Chamber of Deputies in May 1921, and the Italian Fascist Party was already gaining notice in nationalist circles in Germany (along with its paramilitary groups that fought communists in the streets), so its quite possible that Hess had heard of Mussolini by then.

If you have to go cheap, use a phone app like "Vflat Scan", as it can digitize older books without you having to damage the material by flattening pages, etc.
You could also try seeing if a library or university near you has a scanner and if you're allowed to use it for a period of time, they can help you with setting the system up.

NSDAP politician Friedrich Schmidt describes the differences between the German Reich and the Anglo-Saxon British Empire (found in "The Reich as a Task", 1940):

"The Anglo-Saxon Empire, in its internal structure and in its external impact on the world, is a product of the last few centuries.
In the course of its development, the English Empire has become the visible embodiment of the will to dominate, and over the past hundred years, the Englishman has always gone wherever trade routes and lines of power intersected: in doing so, he was driven almost exclusively by the will to exercise his power—often unscrupulously to the very end—over peoples and continents through the possession of economically valuable territories and the control of the world’s most vital transportation hubs.
The mission of the British Empire, therefore, has always been to exercise domination, and this will to dominate permitted the use of all means, from the slave trade to Christian missionary work, as well as from moralizing hypocrisy to the most brutal murder.

Here we recognize the great distinction, for when the German went out into the world, he went where work and achievement awaited him; he wanted to set an example out in the world; he wanted to help and captivate others through his actions.
Thus, today’s German Reich is not an expression of the will to dominate, but—in accordance with the law inherent in the German people—an expression of the will to lead, that is, the will to convince others through example and role models, and to serve the purpose of creation through discipline and order, wherever that may be.

We Germans can do without any display of the most brutal violence in the world, because Adolf Hitler’s revolutionary idea creates such an abundance of tangible achievements that the young peoples of the European continent—and beyond, the world—will not be able to resist this German genius in the long run - thus, it is our German destiny in the world to be the educators of the peoples and the executors of a final divine mission."

Wanted to shoutout another translation project that parallels this one (but went on for far longer than mine so far).

The "Biblioteca Fascista" was a Blogspot translation effort to preserve and translate Italian Fascist works from 2012 to 2024; it has countless articles, books, papers, speeches, decrees, and other material in both English and Italian.
Sadly it seems as though the project ended in 2024 with no new updates since then, but what it had done up to that point is absolutely incredible.

Check it out; if nobody else does it who knows, I might make another Internet Archive account just to mirror everything there.
