For the first time this afternoon, the Pentagon acknowledges here that nearly 100 U.S. service members have been injured to some degree since attacks began again. Some of these injuries were suffered days ago.

This marks another retrenchment in transparency. The Pentagon is now referring reporters to a database that hasn't been updated in days rather than answering timely questions about what is happening to America's sons and daughters.

43,138 people were booked into an ICE detention center in June, and July is on track for over 49,000 — significantly more than during Minneapolis.

ICE admits now that the *best case* scenario is that the ICE officer who shot Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in the chest ran up to a moving vehicle and shoved his arms into the passenger window and opened fired seconds later.
