BREAKING: The US military reportedly withheld details of three Iranian strikes in Jordan that wounded dozens of troops, fearing disclosure could help Iran improve its targeting, per NYT
For the first time this afternoon, the Pentagon acknowledges here that nearly 100 U.S. service members have been injured to some degree since attacks began again. Some of these injuries were suffered days ago.
This marks another retrenchment in transparency. The Pentagon is now referring reporters to a database that hasn't been updated in days rather than answering timely questions about what is happening to America's sons and daughters.
The data also confirms statements made by Tom Homan that June saw a record number of people arrested and sent to detention.
43,138 people were booked into an ICE detention center in June, and July is on track for over 49,000 — significantly more than during Minneapolis.
NEW: For the first time since early April, @ICEgov has published data on detention and removal.
The new data shows that as of July 11, ICE was detaining 65,765 people; up from a lull in April but still not at the record levels set in January during the Minneapolis raids.
@conorjrogers This refers to two different things: rough sleeping is people who literally sleep rough on the streets.
Homelessness is anyone without a home: they can be provided temporary accommodation by the government or be sleeping on sofas of friends.
Here's how this looks in percentages, for some states which confirmed OR identified possible noncitizen voters:

- Arkansas: 0.002%
- Florida: 0.001%
- Georgia: 0.0001%
- Indiana: 0.0004%
- Louisiana: 0.003%
- Michigan: 0.0001%
- Ohio: 0.0001%
- Texas: 0.0002%
No ban on Americans using open source models will stop online attackers from China, Russia, Iran, or other countries from having access to such models. All it can do is prevent US computer security professionals from having help from the audits such models could perform.
US officials tell @WSJ that Iran struck the US base in Jordan three times in the span of 24 hours. Each time, personnel scrambled to get to hardened shelters--not always reaching them in time.
.@AbdulElSayed says ICE should be abolished:
"ICE has nothing to do with immigration. ICE has nothing to do with the Southern border. ICE is about normalizing paramilitary force on our streets. ICE is about weaponizing the idea of immigration against the Constitution itself."
“When someone invokes the graveyard of twentieth-century communism to condemn Mamdani’s transit policy, he has let the word do his thinking for him. The catastrophe and the bus share a name and nothing else.”
Hunter Biden: “I believe the biggest problem in America is not the oligarchy, it’s the closetocracy. Everybody knows there is this closeted gay mafia, largely Republican, that exists in DC. The only reason that is relevant is I believe that internal conflict creates so much vitriol inside a person that they take it out on the rest of the world”
@MacFarlaneNews Alan Dershowitz represented Trump in the impeachment hearing, but now he won’t present the Epstein briefs that he says he never took off on Jeffrey’s island?
He might just be too busy on his new Fox television dating show …
“Underage Love Connection”
Per sources, Alan Dershowitz is NOT going to appear for his scheduled interview Monday with the House Oversight Committee... about Epstein Files
Let's see what the panel does next to secure his testimony/answers
This was the June letter seeking Dershowitz's appearance ==>
🚨This statement admits DHS lied. There is nothing about weaponizing the vehicle or attempting to run over the officer. He says the agent was "inside the van or immediately next to it." OK, he was not "inside the van," so he just gunned him down from the side of the van.
ICE admits now that the *best case* scenario is that the ICE officer who shot Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in the chest ran up to a moving vehicle and shoved his arms into the passenger window and opened fired seconds later.
No vehicle “weaponization”; no effort to run anyone down.
