#HRC53 #SierraLeone talks about their impressive program and recent law which provide free education from pre-primary through secondary education.

As a result, enrollment went 🆙 with 50%.

The Myanmar military & armed groups should incorporate the Guidelines into their doctrine and practice & ensure that fighting is kept out of school grounds.

[Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine (HRMMU) @UNHumanRightsUA]

All schools must be safe. But in #Ukraine, schools are being destroyed as a result of #Russia’s full-scale armed attack.

From 24 Feb 2022 to 31 Jan 2023, we documented 652 attacks on schools, which:

- killed 12 civilians,
- destroyed 159 schools and
- damaged 493 schools.
