A strong endorsement of Greater Manchester's approach to clean air by @wearethentia, showing that investment in public transport and reducing congestion are alternatives to unfairly charging workers within our Night Time Economy.
Hopefully other areas will follow.
🚨 The NTIA is calling on UK mayors to follow Andy Burnham’s example in investing in sustainable transport solutions amid the pressures of ULEZ and CAZ schemes. 🚨
The late-night economy is vital for local communities, but businesses are facing serious challenges due to rising costs and limited transport options for workers and customers after hours. 🌙
We can’t let sustainability come at the cost of local economies. It’s time for action!

It’s only 7th Jan and I’m already seeing a raft of Hospitality closures this morning.
I’m sadly predicting we will see more at the start of this year, than we did during Covid.
The unexpected extra tax burden of an increase in NI and Business Rates increase, will be the straw that broke the camels back.
Many Govt meeting are taking place this month, but sadly the writings already on the wall for many.
Such an important piece of work between @BrightonHoveCC and @musicvenuetrust, building on our own guidance produced last year.
This document will make such a difference to venues across Brighton and Hove who are grappling with planning applications.
