@PatrickGormanMP BS @PatrickGormanMP . A few years ago when Xmas Day landed on a weekend the associated public holiday was shifted by Labor to the Monday. My son worked his normal Saturday shift on the actual Xmas day and was paid the usual Saturday rate, while the Monday workers got the bonus😡.

@barbpar @simonahac @mattjcan The substantial feed is coal based, but I generate 2 times usage from the grid from solar panels. Supplier upgraded our meter to “smart”, reduced solar feed in to 1c per kWh and increased peak usage price to 40c per kWh. The free 3 hours during the day was already free.
