Everyone was scoffing at his price up front. 80m return along with what toon got out of him on the field is worth the summer transaction. Better question is will it be spent right? #NUFC
The most inevitable thing ever is Gordon getting a big move, excelling and our fanbase whining saying we should’ve never sold. Reality is ~£80m for a player who clearly doesn’t want to be here and has been lacklustre for 2 years is great business
@GOALSETTERSFC@Codurhammag@tmzette Shocked us too it was Frankfurt then it turned into a loan offer and they didn’t move forward. Snap a teams arm off for 30m.
Knew soon after he signed this day would eventually come and I never thought I’d be happy at this point to see him go. Great player and wish him the best just been such black spot on the club this (what we thought would be an exciting) summer. #NUFC
🚨💣 BREAKING: Alexander Isak to Liverpool, here we go! Deal agreed now for £130m transfer fee. Record move for Premier League.
Isak, on his way today for medical tests as new Liverpool player after long term deal agreed months ago.
It was always ONLY Liverpool for Isak.
@LD5931895015311@YSLRNUFC I mean it did happen, 13 years ago. Different time. I guess if it makes ya feel better it must be nice for it’s so easy to get tickets for 2025 Sunderland.
@Licha0741@TransferChecker People said the EXACT same about Isak. If only there was a way we could adequately judge if a signing was worth it.. (oh yeah that’s right, time will tell)
@BenArmstro69771@coxy231081@RuzMark Sadly they want to NFL-ize the prem. Favorite part of euro footy is they do not operate like US franchises. Those days are gone.
@NUFC360@GraemePeacock1 People compare Newcastle to Alaska. Can say first hand, coming as an outsider when I first visited, I was blown away compared to what I had read online. Great city. Genuine, honest, working people. Extremely welcoming and night life was great. Also so quick to get anywhere in UK
