@DefaultDNB@timeextension64@PixelCNinja@VEsoterica@ModernVintageG I mentioned this project to you in the past before it reached 100%. Also, there's a minimal port that just released that was used for debugging purposes: https://t.co/5Ep6zWq5tv
Might be of interest to you for a future video!
@RyanSilberman Blaze Entertainment thinks Duke Nukem fans giving constructive criticism are just trolls and want to fight. No, we actually do care very much about the thing we are arguing about. The Duke IP has been through enough abuse already and we don't want to see bare-minimum effort.
Duke Nukem in the hands of such a thin-skinned company. What could go wrong? Pretty sure they've already ruined their relationship with most of us hardcore Duke fans.
@evercaderetro The Duke Nukem page on the Evercade website is using the main menu background straight from Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition as you can see below. There's a second Duke head almost peeping out. Why not just use the original, HQ source artwork instead? It's out there and available.
@roman13183140 Credit goes to Fox on the https://t.co/Mg4xF85sLV Forums for creating the files necessary for the textures to load and display in the map properly.

It's best to load one of the maps in Mapster32 and test launch it from there because some of the maps have the player spawn point outside of the map, so you'll have to move the arrow inside of the map somewhere first before launching.
@Rainchus Not sure if you know Modern Vintage Gamer on YouTube, but I brought the Zero Hour decomp project to his attention as you can see in my "Tweets & replies", so maybe he'll feature the project in a future video. Us Duke fans have wanted for this for a long time, so good luck!
@ModernVintageG Also, the maps for the game were built using Duke Nukem 3D's level editor. I'm not sure if the game itself is running on the Build Engine, but the Build editor was obviously used because the map files load right up in Mapster32.
@ModernVintageG should do a shoutout to this project to bring more attention to it. This game was a big hit and still loved by fans to this day, so it's going to raise some eyebrows when significant things start happening with it. #DukeNukemZeroHour#Nintendo64#PCPort#DukeNukem
Alright so a new Duke Nukem related project on GitHub just caught my attention.
An decompilation of Duke Nukem Zero Hour for Nintendo 64 is already in progress. It's still in early stages but looks really promising.
@jonhurwitz@Legendary If you could get Henry Cavill on board, I think he would make a great Duke Nukem. I've heard he's a gamer, so he may already be familiar with the character. Not only that, but women swoon over him in real-life, so it would fit the fact that women swoon over Duke in the games.
