Great to visit Brig. Gen. Dan Waters & the warfighters of the @NVNationalGuard at @NellisAFB. The 232nd Combat Training Squadron is seamlessly integrated with the Air Force here, delivering cutting-edge combat training & maintenance operational testing to reduce F-35 refuel & rearm times, generating faster combat sorties & enhanced lethality in contested environments.
These Guardsmen fly & support multiple fighter platforms including the F-35, F-16, F-22, F-15E, A-10 & F-47. They also support high-end simulations & participate in large-scale joint exercises focused on global operations & Homeland defense. Great work, Nevada Guard!

The new range will allow Nevada soldiers to meet military marksmanship standards without having to leave the state. Since 2019, the Nevada army guard has sent more than 1,000 soldiers to neighboring states annually for marksmanship qualifying.
