[Yesterday night], we took decisive action across major roads in Kano metropolis with a massive and total evacuation of illegally dumped building materials.
Sand, blocks, cement and other construction materials have no place on public roads. Our roads are government infrastructure provided for the movement, safety and convenience of citizens—not for construction activities, storage or dumping.
REMASAB will not allow our roads to be turned into construction sites or illegal dumping grounds.
Our enforcement teams will continue to identify, evacuate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates environmental and public-space regulations.
This operation is part of our sustained commitment to Operation Kano TSAF-TSAF, under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, Executive Governor of Kano State.
We are determined to protect public infrastructure, improve environmental cleanliness and restore order across Kano metropolis.
There will be no compromise. Our roads must remain clean, clear and accessible.
