Earlier today, Officer Molina, Officer Budhan & Quality of Life Sergeant Musayev did confront a male who was in possession of this loaded firearm. After a brief struggle, they were able to place the male under arrest and safely remove this firearm off of the streets of Manhattan.
🚔At the Monthly Mayor’s Midtown Citizens Committee @Timessquarenyc & @nypdpbms awarded Lt. Khan & Sgt. Chohan with Cop of the Month. In a swift response, officers spotted & pursued 2 chain-snatching suspects, apprehending them moments later & restoring safety to Times Square.

Officer Marley & Sgt. Lacerenza from our NCO team responded to a 911 call about a firearm, witnessed on someone.
They spotted the suspect with the loaded gun in plain view sitting on a table and safely took him into custody without incident.

Despite the tragic shooting that left him paralyzed in 1986, Steven continued to share his powerful message of forgiveness and love with the world until his passing in 2017.
I’ve had the honor of calling Patti Ann McDonald a friend during my entire time with the NYPD, and watched with pride as their son Conor has built a distinguished career in this Department. The entire family is an inspiration, and a symbol of all that is right with the NYPD and New York City.
