We're the Tech department of the @NYSenate. (The views expressed herein are those of the tech staff and do not necessarily reflect the views of the NY Senate.)
@NYSenate has adjourned for the evening. We reconvene in less than 8 hours at 9am. Many senators are voting remotely. Technology plays a vital role in making it all happen.
@AnnaMKaplan @aseoane90 @NYSenate@YouTube Thanks for the props, Senator @AnnaMKaplan! Our web team and media services team will discuss the addition of YouTube as a content delivery platform for @NYSenate.
Nice to see increased interest in https://t.co/KOf11Iesdg website and legislative APIs as a result of today's passage of historic voting reforms at @NYSenate!
First day of session and all systems go... except for a federal govt GSA API service that we use for calculating meal and lodging allowances. #ShutdownStories
@drivingjustice This is our third time telling you that we are NOT legislators. We are the tech team at the NY Senate. We have no control over policy, and we ask that you stop directing your messages at us. Thank you.
@joemcl@Mattermost@civicrm A bunch of us were very impressed with @Mattermost during #SlackDown. We had to return to Slack due to our dozens of integration points (Github, Pantheon, Looker, NewRelic, etc) and the fact that we are still a Slack customer. We will be revisiting MM very soon.... stay tuned!
The Slack outage has provided us with some motivation to look at @Mattermost. Took 20 minutes to set up, and we're happily chatting again. #slackdown#mattermostup#mmup
At 1:49am, @NYSenate has adjourned, marking the end of the 2018 session. Of course, our tech projects continue. See our work and collaborate with us at https://t.co/1hyzrH11bV
