@caleb_neel Big part of the reason the last natty came in 1988 and not sooner, is the need to be the moral/ethical leader of college sports. Meanwhile USC, Clemson, Bama and countless others were pushing the envelope in recruiting. Now that it’s an even playing field, ND is crushing it

@caleb_neel I agree on your point, but it’s just a product of the times. College athletics are pre-professional sports, and now it’s a 2 way street for business to be facilitated. Landscape of sports will continue to change, and it will stray farther and farther from tradition.

@mrfrttv @TSykes63 @RyanPohle @JohnBurrowsCFB In my opinion, the committee gave a little too much weight to their 2 losses. Both those games turn to W’s if one play flips and those are playoff teams. Not showing up and getting beat by 3+ scores should be weighed more heavily. Don’t have an issue with Miami being in at all.
