@PMadhwaraj How does moving Mangalore to SWR affect kerala? Still entire kerala is in southern railway, no one has taken it. Then why the worry? And if the revenue goes to southern or south western railway, its finally Indian railways. Again it doesnt affect kerala in any way.

Whole over India, station rebuilding, quadrupling, rail on mountains are being done except for coastal karnataka including Mangalore. Extremly slow running trains towards Bengaluru and overloaded konkan towards mumbai. Both on single tracks. No railway projects reach here.

@KARailway Well, the target population is kerala. Any trains to and from kerala will be successful. Currently 3 vandebharats connecting kerala are fully booked. If nagercoil is the destination, then the route can be different which will take shorter duration

Same for sakleshpur. Some trains from hassan can be extended till sakleshpur.

Bengaluru Metro reopened all stations, including Cubbon Park, Dr BR Ambedkar (Vidhana Soudha) & Sir M Visvesvaraya, for normal passenger entry and exit.

Metro services are operating normally.

The stations were temporarily closed due to overcrowding.

Passengers holding tickets to affected stations were allowed to exit at MG Road/Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station using same ticket without paying any additional fare.
