@LeadingReport Haha…color me shocked! Could have counted these before Election Day and released exact figures right when the polls closed but that would look like an election with integrity so better to just slowly count the votes and trickle it out once you see how the other votes look.
@MarindaVannoy1 Stupidity! If the right wants it the left can’t agree…no matter how good of an idea it is. And candidly, that same mindset goes both ways but I’ve yet to see the left come up with a good idea.
So counting the ballots a week later when you know how far behind your Dem candidate is trailing makes sense to you.? You aren’t a serious person. No voter ID, no real timeline, no common sense…you deserve the candidate you are going to get!
Literally not one thing I said above is what you would do if you want to rig an election. If I wanted to rig an election I’d let anyone and everyone vote, I wouldn’t ask who they were or where they lived, I’d take my sweet time and just slowly count up the votes, I’d see if the candidate I wanted to win was getting the votes they needed, and then if not, some “mail in” ballots would magically appear. So basically, exactly how California does it. Zero accountability for the worst run state in America.
@UMFL2002@stephen_richer Yes! It’s easy and promotes the idea for everyone that the election results are real.
But then again, Florida also requires an ID instead of forbidding an ID so they are getting real crazy down there!
@willjust_@stephen_richer If you are mailing in a ballot and doing early voting then guess what…you aren’t voting on Election Day! So have your non-election day vote counted before Election Day so that you can deliver the results of Election Day….on Election Day!!!
Is this that far fetched of an idea?
In Texas we have machines and we slide the ballot in, can immediately see the number of votes, see it rise by one when you submit your vote, and go on your way. Then the polls close and each station can quickly submit the results (because they have already been counted throughout the day). This isn't hard. We also present an ID so they know who we are. And yet...they are counted VERY quickly.
This just isn't very hard. It doesn't take other big states very long to count the ballots!
@AdamSchiff Count faster...this is so simple and easy and yet the people who run California are bringing all of this on themselves. Other big states have no problems but the most corrupt state that leans heavily blue is the only one that has big issues counting. Make it make sense!
You are not a fan of common sense. No photo ID...stupid. No ID required at all...stupid. Multiple weeks to count ballots....stupid. Voting for the same people who are ruining your state and causing a mass exodus from your state...stupid.
There is NOTHING that is free or fair about elections in California. It's embarassing that in the modern world with all of the technology that is out there we can't have real time results. And regardless of whether you are a Republican or Democrat...long delays lead to suspicion of cheating, and rightly so. Lastly, in Texas you vote, slide the ballot in the machine and you can immediately see how many votes have been cast and that your vote has been counted. Then each precinct can quickly report their numbers at the end of the night. Every vote is counted VERY quickly. It isn't hard unless your state is run by a bunch of incompetent idiots!
That’s so lazy and dumb. Texas doesn’t have this issue and many other huge states don’t either. It’s probably legit but it 100% invites the possibility of cheating and corruption. Early and mail ballots should be counted prior to the election and votes should be counted and tabulated in real time. This isn’t difficult…it’s liberals making something way harder than it needs to be and then stupidly defending it as if it is common sense and normal.
Haha...Elon can get in a rocket and fly from LA to Europe in 30 minutes but we can't count votes (that should be counted in real time) for 10 days. Can you at least acknowledge how that invites the accusations that cheating might be going on? With all the technology available, there should be an easy digital system where your vote is cast and counted immediately. And early votes/mail in votes should already be counted before election day and publish as soon as the polls open. Not magically (Biden-style) be published once the deficit is known.
@montoyalouis1 I think this post is a reach. Most are bowing their heads respectfully and I don't think most people put their hand over their heart for the anthem.
@jrzx298@alison_renner Because having a sports franchise in your city yields massive economic benefits to the "public." I don't know anyone who has ever felt impacted by the incremental cost that residents pay for a new stadium.
@CamCan72 It's just an odd thing to have a special night for IMO. Do we really need a night to celebrate sexuality at a baseball game? Seem ridiculous to me and it is clearly a controversial topic that many (players and fans) aren't on board...so why do it?
