@ambr0ga@NoFilm_Analysis You said 5 and 2. If he has back to back 1,500 seasons, he's still 700 yards short of Walter Payton for 2nd. Your originally post had him getting a 1,900+ season followed by an 1,800+ season. If you want to change it to 3rd in two more seasons, that's doable and more realistic
@ambr0ga@NoFilm_Analysis Top 5 requires 1,901 yards which would be his 3rd best season and to get to #2 would require another 1,808. That would be his 4th best season. To get to #2 in two more seasons would require the best two year stretch of his career. He'll be 6th after this year and 4th after next.
@NoFilm_Analysis If he plays four more years, he needs 1,334.5 yards/yr. If he can play five more years, he needs 1,067.6/yr. He's already 31 and has ten years in the league. It's possible but the odds are low.
@johnamonaco Ironically, this is exactly how the Christian faith grew in the first couple of centuries. Prior to Christianity, taking care of the aged and infirmed was rare and it wasn't unheard of to leave disabled infants to the elements. There's nothing new under the sun.
@sarge____ ...the LCS. Their record in May and the first three games of June is 9-22. We have proof from last year that they can overcome a 9-22 stretch and win a playoff series.
@sarge____ There's zero incentive to tell anyone you're selling. In fact, it's probably better to make it seem like you will, or at least could, keep Skubal. Say no until you get an offer you can't refuse.
Last year, they ended the season 9-22, made the playoffs and were a hit away from
@JimCosta_ It could be a negotiating tactic, say no until you get an offer you can't refuse. If they know you're going to sell, they won't offer you the best deal
Also, the Tigers went 9-22 in their last 31 games, May and the three on June. Last year, their slide was 9-22 to end the season
