We had an exciting morning at Tooting Fire Station today!

Nursery have enjoyed decorating the Christmas tree together, playing in the snow and writing letters to Santa! ⛄️🌲

The children were all very excited to observe and touch some worms today. We learnt some new facts about worms, sang a song about them and we then took them outside to our nature garden to use them for composting. 🪱

Nursery had lots of fun digging up potatoes today! 🥔

Nursery have been busy drawing the Giant from ‘ Jack and the Beanstalk.’ We thought about using emotions in our drawings. Some of us drew happy giants and some of us drew angry ones!

We made some delicious smoothies and fruit salads this week, after visiting our local fruit and vegetable shop. Yum!🍇🍓🍉🌽🍉

We were shocked to discover lots of unusual items in our garden today! We spotted a bib, a nappy, some baby clothes, some avocados and a mystery book hanging on our tree. We had lots of interesting ideas about who had visited our nursery and we can’t wait to read our new book!

We have been keeping very active in Nursery. This week we developed skills such as climbing and balancing using equipment. We also enjoyed some relaxing yoga!🏃‍♀️🧗🧘

This week we have been learning about the people who help us in school. We went on a tour of our school and met our wonderful Lollipop Lady, Ulis.🚦

This week we set off on an exciting adventure to outer space with Baby Bear. We packed our suitcases and put on our space costumes to travel to the Moon! We also worked in groups to make teddy bear sandwiches.🌙 🐻 🚀
