Thanks so much to @seanoconnellQUB for taking us on a tour around Sailortown today. We even had the pleasure of seeing inside Sinclair Seamen's Presbyterian Church thanks to the Minister meeting us outside by chance. What a great way to finish the @deindustrialpol Belfast leg 😊
It has been a great pleasure to host Depot’s 2024 Summer Institute at QUB. Among today’s excellent speakers were our very own Sinead Burns and Shonagh Joice. @qubpublichist @HAPPatQUB

Can't wait for the feedback on the chapter to get our edits done now. Still pinch myself at the opportunities afforded to us through DePOT this early on in our careers!
Final day of the #DePOT conference today. Today is also the day of our team presentation 😬😅 looking forward to it though. Feels like the final touches to our contribution to the Industrial Closure Volume. #QUBResearch
Day 1 of the #DePOT Summer Institute here in Cape Breton. It's really great connecting with fellow PhD students and hearing about the varied research that is going on out there 😀

Absolutely love this artwork! 🥰 it's so great to see murals like this emerging in Derry. Focusing on people and folklore and representing culture rather than the Troubles. Congratulations to all involved 👏
Our latest mural, The Dryad by @thisisfriz was completed today on Central Drive, Creggan! 🌳
Dryads were tree spirits in Irish & Greek mythology and were said to be protectors of trees and forests. The mural is inspired by the sacred position the oak tree held for our ancestors.
