High school English teacher who tends toward the sentimental, but always ends up on the right side of a wry lip off. Home on the prairies. Big fan of cats.

Very sorry to hear that @ralphgoodale lost Regina-Wascana (the riding where I live). He's held the riding since 1993 and has done tremendous things for the @uofregina and #yqr. Thank you for your service to our community, Minister Goodale.
While it's possible I am too pregnant to see anything else, I'm struck most by @khaledhosseini 's many depictions of motherhood in And the Mountains Echoed. "At that moment, she cannot think of a more reckless, irrational thing than choosing to be a parent."

I learned more math than I typically tolerate on a Friday evening, but also got in a few good cries. Overall, I'd call it a draw, which means that it's okay I had to learn math because I liked the story anyway 🙂#curiousincident@mark_haddon
