Our Crime and Community Survey examines experiences of crime, and how connected we feel to our local communities.
The survey closes on 1 December, and takes 10 mins.
We really hope that you will make your views known to us.

Though our Neighbourhood Watch work party today was small, its footprint was mighty – we really did pick up tonnes of stuff around our two streets. @KeepBritainTidy@N_Watch
Quiz time! Which of these is a sign of a phishing attempt?
· Urgent requests for personal information
· Generic greetings like "Dear Customer"
· Poor grammar or spelling
· Suspicious links or attachments
· All of the above
Answer: All of the above!
Neighbourhood Watch chief John Hayward-Cripps has welcomed the Government's neighbourhood policing plans in his article in The Mirror today.
But it is working with communities that matters if we want to make a real difference.

It's really good to see this investment in neighbourhood policing. Nearly a third of people who responded to our survey told us they lack a feeling of safety. It's especially important for younger people; they are the age group least likely to feel safe in their neighbourhoods.
🚩Phishing red flags to watch for:
• Misspelled domains (eg. https://t.co/BsZeVzxB2u)
• Unexpected attachments
• Demands for immediate action
• Requests for personal info

We were delighted to host @DianaJohnsonMP, @ukhomeoffice Minister for Policing, Fire and Crime Prevention at Neighbourhood Watch HQ.
She spoke to our brilliant volunteers about community policing and local concerns. It was great to share the brilliant work our volunteers do.
Today I ventured to London representing @N_Watch Youth Council meeting Dame @DianaJohnsonMP (MP for Kingston upon Hull and Minister of State for Crime, Policing and Fire at the Home Office). A pleasure to meet Coordinators from London, NWN Staff and NWN CEO John Hayward-Cripps.
It was a real pleasure to meet @N_Watch volunteers and hear how they are working together with local communities to help stop crime.
The public want to see their local police engaging with the community and that’s why we will put 13,000 new neighbourhood officers on our streets.
1/2 Knife crime devastates families and communities.
After the ban on zombie knives and machetes last year, we welcome this @ukhomeoffice crackdown on ninja swords too.
The government has committed to halving knife crime, but everyone can play a role in keeping people safe.
