Just telling people to vote "yes" on a plan is not a proper engagement strategy, and neither is not being able to answer to the future impacts this would create if it passes This will create more financial strain and communication barriers within the borough.

After asking many questions of the Wilkinsburg Government Study Commission I'm left with more questions than answers.

If the goal is giving residents more access, involvement, and insight into the borough

..then why is most of this charter giving more power and compensation to electeds (which increases taxes). Instead of improving the engagement with a governing community advisory board.

One thing that doesn't get talked about enough is the long-term challenges previous administrations leave behind, making it harder for new reps to fix past wrongs.
