I’m still pretty repulsed by what it says about Democrats that being a Nazi (and Hamas apologist) was not a deal breaker.
Not shocked, or surprised. But repulsed.
Yarden Bibas’s full eulogy:
"Mi Amor"
I remember the first time I said "mi amor" to you. It was at the very beginning of our relationship. You told me to only call you that if I was certain I loved you, not to say it carelessly. I didn't say it then because I didn't want you to think I was rushing to say "I love you." Shiri, I'll confess to you now that I already loved you back then when I said "mi amor."
Shiri, I love you and will always love you!
Shiri, you are everything to me!
You are the best wife and mother there could be.
Shiri, you are my best friend.
Mishmish, who will help me make decisions now? How am I supposed to make decisions without you?
Do you remember our last decision together?
In the safe room, I asked if we should "fight or surrender." You said fight, so I fought.
Shiri, I'm sorry I couldn't protect you all. If only I had known what would happen, I wouldn't have fired.
I think about everything we went through together—there are so many beautiful memories.
I remember Ariel and Kfir's births. I remember the days we would sit at home or in a café, just the two of us, talking for hours about everything under the sun. It was wonderful. I miss those times deeply.
Your presence is profoundly missed.
I want to tell you about everything that's happening in the world and here in Israel.
Shiri, everyone knows and loves us—you can't imagine how surreal all this madness is. Shiri, people tell me they'll always be by my side, but they're not you. So please stay close to me and don't go far!
Shiri, this is the closest I've been to you since October 7th, and I can't kiss or hug you, and it's breaking me!
Shiri, please watch over me...Protect me from bad decisions. Shield me from harmful things and protect me from myself. Guard me so I don't sink into darkness. Mishmish, I love you!
Chuki, Ariel,
You made me a father. You transformed us into a family. You taught me what truly matters in life and about responsibility. The day you were born, I matured instantly because of you. You taught me so much about myself, and I want to thank you. So thank you, my beloved.
Ariel, I hope you're not angry with me for failing to protect you properly and for not being there for you. I hope you know I thought about you every day, every minute.
I hope you're enjoying paradise. I'm sure you're making all the angels laugh with your silly jokes and impressions. I hope there are plenty of butterflies for you to watch, just like you did during our picnics.
Chuki, be careful when you climb down from your cloud not to step on Toni... Teach Kfir all your impressions and make everyone laugh up there.
Ariel, I love you "the most in the world, always in the world," just as you used to tell us.
Poopik, Kfir,
I didn't think our family could be more perfect, and then you came and made it even more perfect...
I remember your birth. I remember during the delivery when the midwife suddenly stopped everything—we were frightened and thought something was wrong—but it was just to tell us we had another redhead. Mom and I laughed and rejoiced. You brought more light and happiness to our little home. You came with your sweet, captivating laugh and smile, and I was instantly hooked! It was impossible not to nibble on you all the time.
Kfir, I'm sorry I didn't protect you better, but I need you to know that I love you deeply and miss you terribly!
I miss nibbling on you and hearing your laughter.
I miss our morning games when mom would ask me to watch you before I went to work. I cherished those little moments so much, and I miss them now more than ever! Kfir, I love you the most in the world, always in the world!
I have so many more things to tell you all, but I'll save them for when we're alone.
Cannot stop watching this video of Ariel Bibas meeting his new baby brother Kfir for the first time. 😞💔💔
This one really destroys me. It hits different when you hear them actually speaking versus seeing pictures.
Hamas needs to be wiped off this planet IMMEDIATLY.

So many Jews are terrified for our future right now.
We just witnessed a pogrom reframed, and the message is painfully clear: if you can create any pretext, it’ll be tolerated and spun to fit the narrative.
This is a deeply disturbing sign of what’s to come.
Israeli flag being burned in Europe today with chants to kill the Jews.
Imagine if the media justified violence against Palestinians as a legitimate response. That would be awful... Right?
In the last 13 months, we have seen there is not a single action against Jews - up to and including mass murder - which a wide range of supposedly progressive “anti-racists” will not queue up to “contextualise” in order to dismiss.
Previously an undercurrent, it is now blatant.
Already people are justifying what happened by saying that some Israeli fans took down a Palestinian flag from a house in Amsterdam.
Let me make this clear: an Israeli flag hanging outside a house in the centre of Dublin would not stay up for an hour. That would not give Israelis or Jews a right to hunt Muslims down, spit on them, beat them up, kick them, stab them, run them over with a car, or throw them into the River Liffey.
Antisemites always find any excuse to justify violence against Jews, but this one is frankly pathetic.

Our @trueaccord Google Business page (with all our reviews) was arbitrarily deleted by @Google . Have anyone dealt with this before and knows what one can do to un-delete it?
Seriously folks.
More Republicans are showing up early? OK. They are voting for @KamalaHarris. again, this is not an opinion poll. It is questions about how you voted. Trump is panicking.
Palestinians always had a legitimate right to self-determination.
But Hamas' goal was never about advancing the legitimate Palestinian right to self determination.
Their goal was to crush the legitimate Jewish right to self-determination.
And they failed.
On the eve of the one-year mark since the October 7 massacre, I urge all who claim to care about Palestinians in Gaza and beyond to remember what this dark day represents for the Israeli and Jewish people. Please understand that 10/7 was an exceptionally painful day in which over 1,000 were criminally murdered and maimed; children, women, and bystanders were randomly killed, kidnapped, abused, and taken hostage; remember the trauma that this unjustified terror act has brought upon the Jewish people, making it the worst single-day attack since the Holocaust.
Do not celebrate Hamas, the despicable terror organization that has destroyed Gaza, held its people hostage, and delivered them on a silver platter to the most extremist government in Israel’s history. Do not taunt the Jewish people or boast about the supposed act of resistance, which October 7 was not. Do not harass people who are commemorating the tragedy and its victims. Please be mindful and respectful.
Be as outraged and horrified as you want to be about Gaza and the unbelievable death and destruction there. But give Israelis and Jews the space to remember their lost loved ones. The two traumas do not have to cancel each other out; they are, in fact, intertwined, and only this recognition can help us move forward.
Gaza is central to my being, identity, lived experience, and connection to the land. I care deeply about ending the war and being part of the Strip’s transformation. But that would never mean denying the horrors that Hamas and other terrorists committed on October 7.
Not in my name.
I stand with my Jewish brothers, sisters, and allies in remembering those who lost their lives on that fateful day, and pledged to always be a partner in pursuit of healing, reconciliation, justice, freedom, safety, security, and dignity for all.
A year (!) of writing in one tweet: Terror is always wrong. Revenge is not a strategy. A child is a child is a child. Release all hostages now. Cease fire. Let the aid flow. Neither the Israelis nor the Palestinians are leaving. Without hope for a shared future this does not end.
Again: if everyone, everywhere, truly accepted that seven million Jews and seven million Palestinians are not going anywhere, and that any possible future has to include and encompass both, the whole energy around this conflict would shift. There, and even more around the world.
The news about the murdered hostages is heartbreaking and infuriating on so many levels. For their families and for everyone who loved them. For the hardening of hearts and minds everywhere. For finding a way out of this abyss. The only way out of this nightmare is to break the cycle of violence and revenge. Enough, for God’s sake. Enough.
