1388 days since the Taliban banned teenage girls from school. 928 days since the Taliban banned women from going to university. Afghanistan remains the only country in the world to have such a ban on girls’ education.

4) We belong everywhere and nowhere, clinging to names while the world strips us of dignity. Someone once asked what it means to be Afghan. Lately, it means surviving a world that doesn’t flinch as it breaks you and still finding the strength to stand.
1) An Afghan teen slapped in the streets of Iran.
A toddler hurled like a rag doll in a Moscow airport.
30,000 Afghans expelled daily from Iran.
Exhausted. Displaced. Unwanted.
These aren’t isolated incidents. They are part of a brutal pattern:
In this video, a group of Iranian teenagers are slapping and hitting an Afghan refugee boy.
Sadly, this is a common thing that happens to Afghan migrants in Iran.
But we should never accept this as normal.
This is not just bullying
This is racism.
This is violence.
Every human deserves respect, no matter where they are from.
Iran must protect everyone on its land, even refugees.

3) To be Afghan today is to flee war and run headfirst into walls. To knock on every door, only to be turned away. To watch even your children learn they are unwelcome. We carry not just passports, but pain. Not just identity, but inherited grief.

The debate over the Afghanistan cricket team highlights a deeper issue - our struggle to engage respectfully with opposing views. True strength lies in focusing on ideas, not individuals & fostering understanding over hostility. In a divided world, let’s build bridges, not walls.
1210 days since the Taliban banned teenage girls from school. 750 days since the Taliban banned women from going to university. Women are also banned from public parks, gyms and sports clubs. #LetAfghanGirlsLearn
Nazita (pseudonym) from Farah was in the 8th grade when schools were closed. She has great memories from school. Nazita calls for reopening of schools for girls.

I'm seriously concerned about reports of injuries & deaths of Afghans in Iran's #Saravan border area and I call for authorities to investigate transparently. Clarity is urgently needed. These reports don't stand in isolation. More dignity & safety is needed for Afghans worldwide.
