@JimJohnsonSci @AdrianoAguzzi and not just doing experiments to see what could and should happen... At the end it is connected with a salary... If we just want to explore then we should have more the luxury or time and a good salary... We are not slaves of PIs... All in all it has to be a middle thing (3)

@JimJohnsonSci @AdrianoAguzzi It is as well frustrating when u don't get any results for a long term and what HAVE TO BE CONSIDERATE the damn funding - PhD projects are not endless funded and a student don't have endless time to explore at some point we want to make the story round, get papers etc and (2)

@JimJohnsonSci @AdrianoAguzzi Being a PhD student (final stage) I think I can talk from experience about risky or non risky projects - I had a very risky project, very explorative and without any clue what will happen at the end... What I can say it is very stressful (1)

Most of the Job descriptions are looking for people who are "highly organised" but why exactly those people who are hiring are not? (ofc they are some who are well organised with their excel sheets etc. - don't feel offended Karen)
