The one thing I forgot to mention in it is the Wild Food walk happening in Greystones this Saturday at 14.00 - Ran by @NadurCollective and you can read more about it here. https://t.co/C2A2eCKvom
@_melaniemay Hey Melanie, we have some wildfood walks @NadurCollective in August and will will be releasing some Autumn dates towards the end of the month, urban and beach walks in some different locations.
We foraged the rich landscape here on the #SkelligCoast & carefully chose 4 botanical ingredients local to this area, to create a unique recipe with distinctive flavours that give our pot distilled #irishgin a depth of flavour & taste of the Skellig Coast #foraging#ginbotanicals
Still a few spots for this weekend's hedgerow wildfoodwalk.....link to the website in the bio....elderflower enjoying the wicklow sunshine #superfresh#nadur#wicklow#wicklowwildfood
@MarkTOByrne Hi, if you head over to the website under the 'foraging trip' heading and you can view our next few dates listed, next one is an evening coastal walk this Thursday at 6pm...we will up uploaded some more dates in the following week...cheers
@chefSimonW@AnnetteSweenTUD@ReidmaryMary Sorry late to the message, Simon has you all sorted Mary, only thing to add is that you will need a large amount of the clear liquid, after reducing 5L of the birch water, it will only yield a few tablespoons of delicious and precious syrup !!
This is scruvy grass, regular larger leaf scurvy is very bitter with an acrid taste but this smaller leaf is like a cress, it doesn't grow into the larger version, has much better balance to it, excellent wasabi flavour and backed with some proper heat. #nadur#wicklowwildfood
Cracking lobster roll and stunning fresh fish down in greystones today @SaltyBuoyTruck@SSI_WHOLESALE@NiallSabongi
