🇬🇧 NEW: Jeremy Corbyn called on Britain to demand Israel’s complete withdrawal from Gaza and end RAF surveillance flights, intelligence sharing, the use of RAF Akrotiri and Israeli weapons production at Elbit Systems factories in Britain.

“If we’re serious about ending the military occupation, then we have to play a very full part in achieving that,” Corbyn said.

Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband replied that he wants Israel to withdraw and Hamas to disarm, but defended Britain’s “important and valued intelligence and security relationships with Israel.”

"I have visited all parts of Palestine on several occasions, where I have witnessed the horrors of occupation, as well as the resilience and humanity of the Palestinian people.

They are the ones who suffer from Israel's apartheid. It is their freedom which is egregiously curtailed, alongside thousands of Palestinian refugees who are denied the right of return.

In reality, Britain has Shariah Councils which hold no legal power and are purely a voluntary service which some Muslims enjoy engaging with.
