Meet “Munir Ahdash,” who was involved in collecting funds for the Benghazi Shura Council, which was implicated in the killing carried out during the attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi. He is considered one of the most prominent propaganda voices for the Benghazi Shura Council of Mujahideen, an umbrella coalition formed by Ansar al-Sharia under the leadership of the terrorist Mohammed al-Zahawi, along with the Libya Shield forces and the so-called Benghazi Revolutionaries groups.
Munir Ahdash continues his propaganda activities today from the Libyan capital, Tripoli, and receives direct support from the Libyan Dar al-Ifta as well as from the Minister of Communications in Abdulhamid Dbeibah’s government, Walid Al-Lafi. He is part of a broad Islamist jihadist media network that was involved in terrorist operations in Benghazi between 2012 and 2015.
