I want to apologize for how you’re seeing the team play right now. I’m new to the coaching role, but I’m experienced enough to know we could do better and avoid the mistakes we’ve been making. My biggest mistake was expecting the team to approach the attacking side the same way we do in practice. In official matches our opponents know what to expect, my players play less freely, and, of course, pressure comes here and there. I should have anticipated that, built the structure to avoid it, and it’s my fault.

I also want you to know we’re not going to sit back and do nothing. We’re going to rebuild the way we approach the game. I need to make sure Ruxic and Hiro, as the most consistent players on the roster, have more impact in the early stages of our attacking rounds. And I want to give the team more space to express themselves on the server while sharing the same idea of how we approach the game.

It’s esports. It’s never over until the last round is played on the server - or until you give up.

We’ll do everything we can to qualify for Champs. And we’re not going to give up.

I think he gave us a pretty straightforward stand on the matter. He doesn’t care that his former teammate is a bigot and a transphobe because he was kind to him and he’s a funny teammate. He doesn’t draw the line at transphobia accdg to his “moral standpoint.”
