@Imnb1yt respectfully, you should take accountability for the fact that you clipped this portion of what FNS said about ardiis without including him denouncing the transphobic things he said. no one is canceling him, we are saying it is bad to be friends with bigots if they dont change
@vygna32 however, growth does come from our friends holding us accountable and expecting them to be better and that is the best option here. that can only happen if ardiis sees why his words are harmful and wants to actually be better.
if you maintain friendships with bigots and do not call them out for their behavior then you are cosigning it. even if you talk to them privately, you can publicly say that you have spoken with him about his harmful opinions. it is so simple yet people double down on loyalty to
@vygna32 i havent seen clips of that and i don't watch his streams but i generally give FNS some benefit of the doubt bc he calls people out a lot. this person framed the clip as if FNS didnt say that. it isnt FNS' place to 'forgive' as he was not wronged
as much as tarik gets shit for being the pr guy, the whole jasonr thing was a good example of how you can stand up for you beliefs even if you dont know how to fully articulate it. "man I think its weird and I dont agree with what you're doing"
We don’t hate Valorant.
We appreciate the journey and what it has given us.
But we outgrew the filters, the political correctness, the softness.
If an edgy tweet triggers you, and you hate us for it. This aint your place.
We want to go back to fighting for our slot. We want to earn our victory.
@GoadGatsby this 'mural' was also illegally painted without FDOT approval or any permits. the people just showed up one day and blocked the road. even the chief of police at the time said it was awful.
a lot of the allure of valorant is the diversity of the game, and that is why many people hate on it. alienating the fans who build you up and support the game is dumb financially as well as socially. good luck in esports, i guess.
really disheartening to see how so many people in valtwt insist on using the r word now after it had been eradicated from the vocabulary of the general population for so long. even if people dont understand the moral/ethical reasons why people don't say it -
I used a hurtful word on the podcast, and I'm genuinely sorry for that. I promise I'm working on removing that word from my vocabulary permanently. I don't need anyone to defend me.
you'd think pros would be smart enough to remove it from their vocabulary. being an esports pro only lasts for so long and many pros want to build themselves as a brand, why would other brands want to work with you when you present yourself this way?
@BasiilLeaf you can search for local shelters that rent humane cat traps and put some extra stinky, tasty food in it. there are cheap security cameras on Amazon that give notifications of animals, cats like to wander at night. i caught our cat late at night after a few days with food, gl
