Early 26/27 prediction - Aberdeen will be closer to bottom/relegation play off spot than they will be to the top 6. Robinson will not be head coach by the end of the season either. The rot has more than set in and those that run the club lack the ability or foresight to stop it.
An impressive and extremely cunning plan from Rangers to improve on their 3rd place finish last season by simply signing the masterminds behind Hearts' "famous" 0 trophy haul and 2nd place finish.
Worst Aberdeen team in 30+ years avoiding the relegation play off with 3 games to spare says all you need to know about the quality fo the league this season.
Why have officials on the pitch? The fact that the ref had to go to VAR to give a pen and red card for Aberdeen's penalty incident is laughable. All timer for one of the worst pieces of refereeing I've ever seen.
@KingOtheNorth31 Personally I would have preferred McGlynn to Robinson but neither would be inspiring or please the fans. The issues at the club run far deeper than the manager and until those issues are rectified it is merely semantics who the head coach is tbh.
Lutz has either left (or been told to leave) or he has spun us all a long yarn. Either way its another hilarious chapter of gross incompetence from the club under Cormack's ownership.
Aberdeen FC has this morning been officially given permission to enter formal talks with St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson regarding the vacant managerial position.
The Club will provide an update in due course.
@KingOtheNorth31 He has a good long term record with St Mirren but I feel that he's done all that he can, it won't get any better for him imo. It reeks of a panicked appointment and at odds with what the club has been saying for weeks which is the main source of frustration from the fans I think.
@KingOtheNorth31 A quick glance at the league table would suggest that its definitely not a sensible appointment. His St Mirren team are somehow worse than the shower of shit that play at Pittodrie.
