@Ma3Route @kipkemoi_035 On a serious note may I ask, what happened to the construction of Waiyaki way after completion of Express way.
Are we forgotten? How is one supposed to access Kianda school?
What of Kangemi bridge?
CS roads do you even care?
@KURAroads this is a pupil attempting to cross the busy dual carriageway near Moi Avenue Primary.
The lack of non motorised transport infrastructure, #30kph signage, traffic calming measures makes this 🚸 a deadly gamble

So, does it mean the front streets will not have hawkers at all? If so, that will be fine. Where does backstreets end? @SakajaJohnson@Ma3Route@NairobiNmt@Sir_Labz

Crossing the road at westlands roundabout in the evening is extreme sport. The place has a major bus top and yet no proper crossings or organised matatu stage
@KURAroads you are putting lives at risk
If driving, look in all directions twice
@Ma3Route
We live in an interesting country.
Progressive architects like @GideonNgumbau and urban designers like @kuyokuyo1 are seeing 'nature based solutions' and 'intergrated station design' etc
@KenyaRailways_ guys are seeing Firewood, Timber and an obstruction to concrete.
@ConstantCap Cars should go above and let pedestrians walk at street level. Cars have engines. Elevated crossings put women, children and elderly at a massive disadvantage. And if you are carrying luggage or are differently abled, its even worse
Nairobi is special. A pedestrian nice path just gets blocked 'randomly' (and for many years), giving people nowhere to walk. We look forward to seeing how the Sakaja Cabinet will deal with such injustices.

Pedestrians make decisions based on their environment: if their behavior is risky, it is often the result of inconvenient or inadequate infrastructure rather than poor decision-making.

Incoming administrations need to prioritise sustainable urban mobility. Key points we discussed:
✅BRT for Nairobi & Mombasa
✅Public transport reform
✅Complete cycle networks
✅Safe, at-grade ped crossings

18:59 as expected, the flyover at T-Mall over Raila Way has eaten the footpath forcing pedestrians to use a pipe to cross Mbagathi River.
Will the pedestrian ever get priority in this car worshiping nation? @ncakenya@ConstantCap via @SokoMad
