Just received this book. Published in 2007. Not sure if anyone has it, but if thereโs anything of value Iโll pass it along. Thanks to all who have provided resources! #physed
Another look at our switch adapted rallying system. I had used it with badminton before and now tried it with volleyball. A balloon definitely works better than a beach ball. These two Ss were able to rally back and forth for a few minutes!๐

We all know visuals can be powerful tools & game changers in students finding success! Here is an idea that @Linzo425 & myself came up with to help us & our assistants support students within our gym. We used @lessonpix to create skill board flip charts. #PhysEd#adaptPE#APE
Tips for helping kids gallop with their leading foot. Place a paper or scarf on the ground and have them drag it to get the feeling of the trailing foot.
Dribbling in APE! We have all had many kiddos that spend half the class chasing their ๐โฆnot anymore! This was my first attempt using the milk crates, I plan to zip tie them to the scooter.
Had an idea on paper and happy with the way it turned out. Played badminton for the first time with my Multiple Disability class and definitely wanted a way to rally back and forth between two students using switches. PVC for the win again โ๐ผ #AdaptedPE#PVCinAPE#AssistiveTech
Started dribbling with the feet at one of my schools. Used a yoga mat strap to suspend a ball for a student in a manual WC. Sheโd propel to the ball and kick it with 1-2 feet, Iโd move with the suspended ball in the direction she kicked and then we repeated.
A little 1st grade #physed experiment today ๐ Coned up a ball to build into an underhand strike ๐ช They loved it & had no idea how many steps in opposition, strikes, & catches they were training their bodies & brains to do. Oh yeah, they were working cooperatively, too!
We played softball (bucket ball) for our #unifiedpe class today with @abbytap20& broke out ALL the fun adapted equipment! Students hit from home base and fielders ended the play by putting the ball in a basket rather than going for an out. So much fun for all! #physed#adaptedpe
My Adapted kids are building baseball skills and enjoying honking bases - thanks to my little friend + a stepping stone ๐ท ๐ฃ๐ฅ๐ค #PhysEd#Adapted
