Thankfully, @lace_io is being announced and testnet updates are scheduled to happen soon. "Re-spinning" a testnet takes approximately 48 hours, according to @InputOutputHK.

Testnet is important because many Dapps on Cardano need testnet to test v2 contracts! Testnet is also super important for wallets.

It's not cost effective to test on mainnet, so many Projects, like @lendingpond_ada, are waiting on the testnets to be recreated.
