@terancehood@cschmitzrun@isaiahrmartin Because the blue cities have far more people than those rural counties, why should a minority of people in rural counties get to decide on policy for the majority of people in the cities?
@MichaelPri59658 @ThatEricAlper Rich people don't consider themselves responsible for shit and they're most certainly not wise with resources, one look at AI data centers, their cost, and their impact on the environment is more than enough to tell you that.
@ynotjerome1@NotAvgLiberal He started a war, cut funding to research for children with cancer, put in place a law that prevents states from making legislation on AI (and here i thought conservatives cared about states rights) publicly mocked multiple people's deaths, how's that for a solid bad thing?
@LordKaligath87@RaymonRutten@TheMG3D I mean that's literally a problem OpenAI is facing right now, it's why Sora shut down. The cost to benefit ratio on gen AI just isn't financially practical. At the moment AI's in a race to fix that ratio before the investments dry up, if it can't, then it's done for
@700Alber8284@NRNexxus@Kor_VT With a combo of infinite money and super intelligence you could probably figure out cybernetics that'll make you far stronger
@000000_Sheep@joshumzz@Zornius4 @LucienWolfe111 @StephenKing Ok, at the late 1800s, the democratic and republican parties switched places. Originally the republican party had democratic values, and the democrat party had republican values. I'm not exactly sure what triggered the swap, though
@whatsitsmike2@nikosunity@RBReich That is quite possibly the dumbest parenting advice I've ever heard. Do you know how many families have pulled that sort of stunt and are completely miserable because of it? How many children have been abandoned because their parents had them before they were ready?
@Chroicocephalus@Merryweatherey@RandomTacoDude Going back to my restaurant example, it doesn't matter that Costco started selling better hotdogs because the fact still stands that you're selling me two Costco hotdogs for 20 dollars when I could buy a whole pack for 5 dollars and microwave it myself
@Chroicocephalus@Merryweatherey@RandomTacoDude No matter how good the tech gets, anyone who tries to use it will never gain profit or popularity from it because anything they can do with it someone else can do too with very minimal time and effort.
@Chroicocephalus@Merryweatherey@RandomTacoDude In conclusion, while AI is faster than real artists, it's inferior in every other regard. Even disregarding ethics or integrity, it's simply not profitable for anyone except the company that made the AI.
@Chroicocephalus@Merryweatherey@RandomTacoDude When it comes to profitability, AI art is kinda like if a restaurant was serving you microwaved hotdogs from costo. If you charge me 20 dollars for two microwaved hotdogs when I could get the same hotdogs and microwave them for like 5 dollars why would I ever spend money on you?
