As a fan of Open World games, I have a list of requests for all future games of this type. Just six. They all boil down to the same basic principle: Don't punish me for exploring! Feel free to add any general rules I looked over. Or you disagree with.
1) Any scene where you walk beside an NPC and talk? That should be a cutscene.
2) All cutscenes should be able to be Paused, Fast Forwarded, Rewound, and Skipped.
3) Don't lock exploration tools behind the MSQ. Horizen Forbidden West comes to mind. Crimson Desert. Let me go out into the world and get to the MSQ when I want.
4) Use the Skyrim system of quest item discovery. Don't make me backtrack. If I make it to a part of the world where a quest item is, let me pick it up. If I kill a named dude, let me tell the questgiver I already killed him.
5) This actually should be number one now that I'm thinking about it. Make traversing the world fun! A lot of open world games have dead zone space in it. That's fine, if it's fun to fun past it, parkour around, farm some materials quickly along the way, fly, etc. There is never a reason to have out of combat stamina drain, let me run, climb, fly, zoom around. (On the same note, don't make the main character's default speed slow)
6) This isn't Resident Evil. We're not playing a survival horror. Don't make inventory management a chore. The Cyberpunk 2077 method was cool. Too much equipment? Scrap it for crafting mats. I want to loot stuff. Let me without going back to town every thirty minutes to sell my wares to four different vendors who are picky about what they will buy and have limited cash on hand.
Day 58-“Wheel in the Sky” Journey
Wheel in the Sky” comes on and suddenly I’m 17, driving nowhere in particular with the wind in my hair. That’s Journey for you… https://t.co/7ESx6zh9er
Actually I keep score all the time. My dad taught me how to do when he would take me to games and I always carried on the habit. My wife still makes fun of me for getting a score card to every game we go to. Just had a goof in the craziness of the play. I already called myself out on it.

@LeanMrfuzzles@MLB I understand, a better way to have worded that would have been "In my opinion, the way this should be scored is as an error (E7 not E9)" not that it was necessarily scored incorrectly. It really sucks the pitcher has to take the HR on his stat sheet.
@JomboyMedia If I'm Mason Miller I'm petitioning the league to change that to an error. I'm not letting my ERA go above 1.00 because of a ball with a XBA of .014
@MLB I feel like 1) Infielders get credit for a catch by having the ball in their glove for 1/3 the amount of time (yes, I know transferring), 2) This should be an E9 and not a HR.
That being said, loved the result! What a weird ass game.
@RaysBaseball Unbelievable. I would say we snatched victory from the jaw of defeat, but I feel it's more accurate to say the Padres snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
Either way, Hell of a game! Go Rays!
@DickieV@RaysBaseball@Padres@Yankees@RedSox@TBTimes_Rays Love that you're with us DickieV! Back in the early Devil Rays days my dad always made a point to find your seat behind home plate and point you out to me.
Be honest, this would have been the type of game you lived for as a broadcaster!
If by some miracle this post catches your attention, I wanted to offer you my thanks for making me aware of the Supernote product. After reading you rave about it, I researched and bought myself the Supernote Manta. As someone attempting to write their first novel, I had been in a writing funk for a couple months after starting strong at 50k words. Having the Supernote made me want to write (because we all like playing with our new toys!), and suddenly words starting flowing again. There's a good chance that you saved my project. So, again, I wanted to thank you and let you know you've made an impactful difference.
@SuzSongs If you're not holding up traffic, yes. Easier to get out of the space. If you're holding up traffic, no. Cause it's annoying to be held up by a "backer-inner"
OK so assume 2000 calories then with optimal macros. Same question applies. I'm more asking about the method of intake than the actual number. Is 2000 calories a day (w/ optimal macros) always 2k, no matter whether it is the exact same foods every day at the same time, a variety of foods, OMAD vs eating every 4 hours, that sort of thing.
Question for the fitness minded people:
Assume a diet of 1500 calories a day. Exact same macros every day (X protein, Y Fiber, etc). Does it matter how I get there?
Does it matter if it is the exact same foods daily at the same time vs alternating foods. OMAD vs eating every three hours? Or is 1500 calories (with the same macros) 1500 calories no matter what?
