This is the best news from the GoK in recent times.
The two biggest impediments improving governance is
No, not corruption. Not political will or vested interest.
Debilitating shortage of staff
Grossly underpaid staff in key roles - police, teachers
So glad is see this!

DK also leans into Kannada sentiment with permanent residency, defense of vendor evictions using nativism. Also tying Guarantees to SIR for efficiency
Politically, the 3 cover vast voter base, DK snatching efficiency fiends right from under clueless KA BJP’s nose
Political take:
Badass trio DK, Priyank, KBG may be masterstroke of INC for BLR, KA elections
Centrist INC spans social & economic L & R
Priyank anti RSS, rationalist, pro core base. KBG pro urban middle class efficiency. DK truly neoliberal.
Scoop up core + undecideds
The lot that’s cheering evictions are the only ones that’ll be surprised
As if you “sweep” away vendors & they’ll upgrade their job, relocate, kids, schools, spouse’s livelihood and all, to another planet, close their loans before they city-hop
Dumb and cruel
@puram_politics@ganeshchetan On the contrary, we are defending urban planning. The city is supposed to co-create vending spaces in each locality, then enforce it. You can’t very well be the entity who fails to abide law & yet enforce against the affected party!
To defend derelict state is perverse.
There is something deeply wrong with too many Indian men who gang up & prey on girls, women, young boys
This isn’t a perverted criminal
This is gangs of sociopaths collaborating
Do normal, non-sociopathic men talk about in their groups?
The pandemic of male predators?
Gujarat stunting - 35% children
Gujarat per capita income - 5th richest of large states
West Bengal stunting - reduced from 34% to 22% in 5 years under Mamata
West Bengal per capita income - below India average, 15th
BJP will stunt Bengali kids.
Wait for NFHS7.
. @blsanthosh avare,
Get your act together.
According to you, if the delay was due to Congress event how come only 3 missed the test?
Where was your voice when your incompetent Central Government failed to stop paper leaks and put lakhs of students through trauma?
22 Lakh students affected.
12 suicides.
Neither you or RSS said a word about it.
Why don’t you go to Jantar Mantar sit for a Pariksha Pe Charcha with the students?
By the way, when can we expect you to produce the RSS documents for registration and demonstrate the transparency you demand from everyone else?
Lead to a black market in fake fingerprints, à la Aadhaar.
The big criminals are sitting in government, ruling party, with friends and family discounts while police goes wild goose chasing
Banning Telegram is a lazy and incompetent knee-jerk response that punishes students instead of fixing the real problem.
Lakhs of students use Telegram for study material, updates, peer learning and exam preparation. Why should they suffer because the NTA and the Union Government repeatedly fail to conduct exams with integrity?
Paper leaks, delays, mismanagement and opaque systems have become the NTA’s trademark. Instead of holding the agency accountable, the Government wants to ban platforms, silence channels and shift blame.
The issue is not Telegram, the issue is Central Government’s and NTA’s incompetence.
Mismanagement of work sites by Namma Metro contractors has partially caused visual disfigurement of #Bengaluru.
People are paying the price for the comfort of your contractors — Minister Krishna Byre Gowda tells #BMRCL honchos.

Social justice must be more than words. It must be backed by real resources.
Through the Scheduled Caste Sub-Plan and Tribal Sub-Plan (SCSP-TSP), Dalit and Adivasi communities were ensured a rightful share of government funds for education, housing, livelihoods and development.
Justice becomes meaningful only when it reaches people’s lives.

Our constitution requires that every organisation be both registered and responsible, and it makes no exception for a ‘Body of Individuals.’ If you come together as one, you answer as one.
