You know who’s vaccinated?
- Trump
- Trump’s kids
- Vance
- Vance’s kids
- every Senator who confirmed RFK
- their kids
These people KNOW RFK is full of sh*t. But they have zero respect for their own supporters.
They sell them lies, use them for power, then laugh at them.
Look up all your drugs on Cost Plus. I'm getting MS drugs from them and saving thousands. Without Cost Plus I wouldn't be able to take my MS drugs. Same goes for my Trigeminal Neuralgia medication. #VoteBlueToSaveOurDemocracy
Well well well, if it isn’t the consequences of my actions.
Susan should have listened better during the campaign. It was obvious this was going to happen
Truly Mafioso. But then it shouldn't be too surprising as that has been his entire life. He's surrounded himself with people who have no morals. Greed is their bible. 😡
Private companies are now handing the US government a cut of their profits to avoid punitive measures against them while Trump is deploying federal law enforcement on the streets of DC and the media is STILL not ready to call this authoritarianism. Do I have that right?
Javiera Montero was detained for 8 hours before NYPD was forced to admit she committed no crimes and was just vacationing in New York.
Please share her story.
Sit a while, before the table we share becomes another locked shelf.
Have a piece of fish, grilled crisp, salted like old truths.
Pour a glass of wine, blood red, staining the rim, heavy on the tongue.
Here, tear into a loaf, still warm, its crust cracking like forgotten stories.
I have 3 cars at home, they are all old,
two 2002 avalanches, and a 2012 sedan.
I drove the sedan to work today, in flint,
its sitting in the parking lot of an old factory,
unlocked, with the windows rolled down,
the keys...
are in the ignition,
pulled out just enough to keep the chime from dinging.
The two trucks at my house,
sitting in my driveway unlocked,
keys in the ignition...
The door to my house is not locked, my wife is sleeping soundly
Of course 2 100 pound German Shepherds help her feel more secure,
but if some so called #predator gave them each a cheeseburger when they came in,
they would happily enjoy them while they walked in the house.
Once they are in, they're not a stranger any more...
and...
isn’t that how it should be?
This was meant to be a shared table. Not a transaction.
Not priced, patrolled, or punished.
But somewhere, that table got flipped.
The bread, once freely given, was tagged and shelved.
The wine, bottled for profit. The fish, carved for margins.
Today, of all days, ask yourself:
What do we lose when the sacred becomes inventory?
What happens when survival carries a price tag?
There’s a quiet violence in turning a $1 loaf into a $5 locked-up commodity.
It’s not just bread. It’s the gas that keeps us moving, the formula that feeds our kids.
Take fuel for example:
Once, a desperate driver might siphon a few gallons, annoying, but manageable.
Then came screen filters and anti-siphon valves, sold as safety, built to guard profit.
Thieves adapted. Now they drill tanks, leaving you with a $1,200 repair and them with a felony.
We stopped a $20 loss,
and created a crisis.
The same goes for bread, for formula, for life’s essentials.
Prices climb, bread’s up 30% in five years, and we respond with cameras, locks, and bulletproof "glass" for cashiers.
We raise the stakes, not the wages.
The person who once slipped a loaf under their coat now faces jail, or worse,
because desperation...
doesn’t negotiate with security tags.
This isn’t about black-market Wonder Bread.
People steal to eat, to feed their kids, to survive a system that demands "try harder" while raising rent, cutting benefits, and offshoring jobs for pennies.
We’ve built a better mousetrap, and the mouse brought a crowbar.
We keep securing the wrong things.
We guard the food, not the income.
We protect the gas, not the paycheck.
We armor the checkout lanes but leave hope exposed to every deduction and delay.
This is capitalism without conscience, a system so obsessed with protecting the means of life it punishes those trying to live.
So maybe the question isn’t "how do we stop theft?"
Maybe it’s "what have we built that makes theft feel like the only option?"
That $5 loaf wouldn’t cost $5
if we didn’t guard it with cameras…
and policies written by those who never miss a meal.
The real cost, trust, dignity, community,
that is far steeper than just five bucks.
But what if we built a table
where no one had to steal to eat?
What would it cost
to share the loaf again?
