I've started translating videos some time over 4 years ago. I've taken about 2 weeks off the entire time.

I put in countless hours every day to find materials that I think matter as well as clips that I think would lift your spirits and make you smile — because we all need that under the circumstances.

I've put my life on hold because I don't have a team — I'm just one person, and between work and my family, there's little free time left for much else.

I don't know how many videos I've translated. Even if I count 5 a day on average, it's already over 7,000. My guess is that in reality the number is over 10,000.

I've never watermarked my videos or added my name to them. I want people to use them if they think it helps Ukraine in some way or fights Russian propaganda.

If they credit me — great, it's nice to feel appreciated. If they don't — that's fine with me because I'm here for Ukraine. Mostly…

Mostly, and not only, because I'm also here for all of you wonderful people who chose to stand with Ukraine in its darkest time of this century.

Just like me, you spend countless hours supporting Ukraine — a nation to which many of you, unlike me, have no personal ties.

I can’t express how deeply I admire your dedication.

Odd story. The 2 year version of this same course, one with a philosophy syllabus, the other in humanities, has been compulsory for *all* undergraduates, including in the Engineering school, for over a hundred years at @CC_Columbia @ColumbiaLitHum @ColumbiaCore.

Tohle je naprostý výsměch Ukrajině, obětem ruské agrese i zdravému rozumu. Organizace, která má chránit mír, by neměla svěřovat takovou odpovědnost představiteli státu, který vede brutální útočnou válku.
