Sometimes you need to have a clear sense of judgment with people, especially if they’re manipulators. You have every right to determine with your own discernment of what kind of person they are and distance yourself for your own well-being.

@JohnRHinton2 Maybe that’s what bothered me most about that statement. A (male) coworker boasted about being “a good husband” bc of those two things he did. I didn’t respond but his words struck me as strange.
